What does it mean to say that BS helps progression?

It does not mean that the profession replaces:

• weapon
• trinket
• raid
• emblems

It means it improves:

• gear adjustment
• setup flexibility
• ability to refine the character
• medium-term progression reading

1. How the profession accelerates gear path

Blacksmithing helps most when:

• the character is already laying a solid foundation
• small gains start to weigh you down
• the progression leaves “wear any upgrade” and enters “optimize”

It is at this point that the profession really begins to shine.

2. Most relevant items and benefits per phase

Initial phase

the gain exists, but it still competes with bigger bottlenecks

Intermediate phase

the profession is better suited because the character already takes advantage of refinement

Final stage

the benefits become clearer and more valuable

3. Synergy with emblems, raid and craft

BS works best when the player:

• use badges judiciously
• don't force tier early for nothing
• understands that the profession complements the route
• use craft and bonuses as reinforcements, not as magical shortcuts

4. Where Blacksmithing stops being a priority

It loses space when:

• your account still has much bigger bottlenecks
• cost is strangling progression
• another profession speaks better to the real objective
• the character has not yet reached a stage where he feels refinement

Blacksmithing delivers more in progression when:

1. the character has already left the ground
2. the focus is on optimization
3. the profession serves as technical reinforcement

It accelerates gear in the right way: refining, not replacing the basics.
