Azeroth Legacy is in its testing and community-building phase, and we are looking for people to help: testers, moderators, people who know Discord, content creators and translators. If you like WotLK 3.3.5a and want to see a server grow from the start, this post explains each role and how to join.
What stage the server is in
The server is not open 24 hours a day yet (see where Azeroth Legacy stands). It is being tested and tuned, and keeping everything running with no players makes no sense. That is why the focus right now is building the community before launch.
The Discord is also just starting: today it has the info channels (#regras, #welcome, #patch-notes, #anúncios and #como-conectar), chats by language (#pt-br, #english and #español), #procurando-guild and #comércio, support (#bug-report and #faq) and the voice channels. A lot is still missing: roles, bots, events and content in the channels. That is where you come in.

The roles we are looking for
Testers
Testers join the server tests and actually play: quests, dungeons, professions and PvP, writing down what is wrong. A good tester:
- describes the problem clearly (where, what they did, what happened);
- sends a screenshot or video when possible;
- reports it in the #bug-report channel.
You don't need to be a WoW veteran. Beginners help too, because they find problems an experienced player doesn't even notice. See how to report bugs and contribute to the server.
Discord moderators
Moderators look after the community: they welcome newcomers, answer simple questions, keep conversations in the right channel and enforce the rules. This role is for people who are patient and online often.
Discord structure helpers
This is the most urgent role. We are looking for people who have built or run Discord servers and can help to:
- organize channels and categories;
- create roles (by language, by class, testers, moderation);
- set up bots for welcomes, moderation, reaction roles and announcements;
- fill in the rules, how-to-connect and FAQ channels.
Content creators
If you make videos, streams, guides or art, you can help show the server: record the tests, write class and leveling guides with the Azeroth Legacy rates, or share the server on your socials.
Translators and language voices
The server welcomes players from many countries. We are looking for people who speak English or Spanish to help in each language chat and review texts on the site and blog.
Interested players
Don't want a role? That's fine. Join the Discord, introduce yourself and follow along. Knowing how many people want to play helps decide when to open the server for good.
What we expect from helpers
- Respect: toward everyone, in every language and at every experience level.
- Consistency: you don't need many hours, but you need to show up regularly.
- Communication: let us know when you can't help for a while.
All help is voluntary. It is a project under construction, made by people who love WotLK.
What you get
- Being part of the server from the start and helping decide what it will be.
- Playing the tests before launch.
- A Discord role for the job you take on.
How to apply
- Join the Discord: discord.gg/RxYcxPpN82.
- Go to your language chat (#pt-br, #english or #español).
- Post a message with:
- your name or nickname;
- the role you want;
- how many hours a week you can help;
- your experience (WoW, Discord, video, translation), if any.
The staff will reply there.
Frequently asked questions
Is it paid?
No. All roles are voluntary.
Do I need experience?
Not for testers or players. For moderation and Discord structure, experience helps, but what matters most is wanting to help and being consistent.
When does the server open to everyone?
There is no date yet. Opening depends on the community growing. Tests and the launch date are announced on Discord.
Can I just play without helping?
Yes. Join the Discord, introduce yourself and follow the news. To understand what the server is about, read why play on Azeroth Legacy.
