The classes that benefit most from First Aid

The classes that benefit most from First Aid

•Professions•Brendo Arruda

First Aid is best for which type of class?

First Aid helps more classes that:

  • have less natural sustain
  • play solo a lot
  • value quick recovery between exchanges
  • can create usage windows in PvP

Since Heavy Frostweave Bandage heals 5800 over 8 seconds, the profession remains relevant when this channel can run uninterrupted.

Classes with the greatest practical gain in the profession

Rogue

Perhaps one of the classes that makes the most use of bandage in PvP and solo because it can open up space to use it.

Warrior

Especially outside a group or between fights, the profession helps a lot to reduce downtime.

Hunter

It can be used very well in leveling and recovery situations between pulls.

Warlock / Mage / Priest / caster in general

They can gain value in leveling and open world when quick recovery avoids stopping too much.

Melee classes without sustain so comfortable

They continue to be the biggest beneficiaries overall.

More efficient usage scenarios per role

Solo DPS

Recovery between fights and small mistakes without depending on food.

PvP

When the class can kite, reset or create line/time for bandage.

Open world

Ideal situation for a profession that reduces downtime without mana cost.

Casual content

Useful between pulls or in less pressured moments.

Where the profession loses relevance

Endgame raid

It loses space because the pace and residual damage greatly hinder its use.

Classes with very strong sustain

They have less practical need.

Player who almost never solos or PvP

You will feel less return.

First Aid is not weak. It just doesn't apply the same to every profile.

Usage errors that nullify benefits

1. Trying to use bandages in the midst of chaos

2. Do not create a window first

3. Thinking that every class enjoys the same

4. Ignoring the role of the optimized non-raid profession

5. Climbing the profession without the intention of actually using it

Quick guide to priority by class

High priority

-Rogue

  • Warrior -Hunter
  • classes that do a lot of solo/PvP

Medium priority

  • casters who value leveling and open world
  • characters with casual routine

Low priority

  • those who only live in organized content
  • those who hardly use active downtime

Minimum recommendation

The classes that benefit most from First Aid are, in general:

  1. classes without strong natural sustain
  2. classes that play a lot of solo
  3. Classes that can open a bandage window in PvP

First Aid is worth more when the class and routine really let you use what the profession offers.
