The easiest professions to level and the most expensive ones to max out
Why does this difference matter so much?
Because a lot of frustration with the profession comes from wrong expectations. The player chooses something expensive thinking he will get:
- quick turnaround
- simple leveling
- little friction
And he discovers that he entered the wrong profession at the time of the calculation.
1. Practical ranking of ease of evolution
Easier
They tend to be:
- collection professions
- simpler secondary professions
- routes integrated into leveling
Intermediaries
- crafts that can make good use of material from the game itself
- professions that depend on some organization, but do not explode the cost early
More difficult/expensive
- crafts with dense material
- professions that require many recipes or purchased inputs
- professions that punish improvisation a lot
2. Which ones require more investment in materials
The most expensive are usually those that:
- transform a lot of material in little advance
- depend on competitive inputs
- they don't make good use of what the leveling itself delivers
- require a planned route so as not to hurt too much
3. Where players lose gold most without realizing it
- buying everything at once
- using bad recipes out of habit
- starting the profession late
- ignoring collection that could feed the craft
- insisting on financially unfeasible “perfect routes”
4. Strategies to reduce total cost
- climb in stages
- use material from the game itself
- combine crafting with collecting
- buy only what is needed
- accept efficient route, not necessarily the most beautiful
5. Priority plan for short budget
Short budget
start with collection or profession with lower friction
Average budget
consider hybrid duo
Loose budget
choose strong craft, but still with planning
Cost checklist
- [ ] Do I know how much this profession tends to cost?
- [ ] Can my account fund this now?
- [ ] Is there a cheaper route to the same objective?
- [ ] am I using my own material when possible?
- [ ] did I choose because of my stage or because of my fame?
Minimum recommendation
Easier professions are often better to start with. The more expensive ones pay off more when:
- the account already has a base
- the objective justifies the investment
- the progression was thought out
Difficult profession is not bad. It only gets bad when it comes in too early.
