Balance Druid: Tips to Improve Damage and Control

•Classes•Brendo Arruda

What else locks Balance?

It is almost always the sum of:

  • broken rotation
  • poor movement
  • misused control
  • reading gear pie and stats

Swing doesn't have to look frantic to be strong. It needs to look stable.

Rotation priority for stable damage

  1. keep the spec base spinning clean
  2. avoid unnecessary dead windows
  3. do not move beyond what is necessary
  4. fit cooldown into real fight, not scare

Combat and positioning control

Balance grows a lot when:

  • uses control to buy space
  • keeps line of sight clear
  • positions itself to keep beating
  • does not become a caster that runs all the time

Stat adjustments by gear phase

The value of the secondary ones changes with the phase, so the biggest error is copying final setup into initial gear. The rule of thumb is:

  • first stability and caps
  • then spec refinement

Most common execution errors

  • running too much
  • breaking the rotation priority
  • use control late
  • poorly aligned cooldown
  • gear read only by ilvl

Training plan for consistency

Day 1

review your priority

Day 2

measure how much walked without need

Day 3

watch if cooldown went into good window

Day 4

review position and control

Minimum recommendation

Balance improves a lot when you:

  1. moves less
  2. protects uptime
  3. uses control calmly
  4. respects the gear phase

Swing hard is what beats well while still owning your position.
