Enhancement Shaman PvE: melee build

Enhancement Shaman PvE: melee build

What makes Enhancement seem difficult?

The spec mixes a lot of things at the same time:

  • melee uptime
  • priorities that change quickly
  • proc
  • usefulness
  • sensitive weapon setup and stats

But the secret is not to memorize everything at once. It is to organize the priority of the spec.

Base talents for damage flow in melee

The Enhancement build needs to reinforce:

  • continuous damage
  • synergy between weapons, procs and moves
  • consistency in single target
  • ability to maintain value even on the move

It works best when the player learns the flow, not when trying to “memorize the chaos”.

Most valuable glyphs for progression

The best glyphs are those that:

  • strengthen the pillars of rotation
  • help maintain stable damage
  • reduce the burden of the most common errors

In progression, Enhancement needs clarity more than glamour.

Attribute priority and initial setup

Enhancement highly values:

  • suitable weapon
  • hit/expertise in order
  • attack power/agility depending on the setup
  • little waste on crooked slots

The spec suffers a lot when:

  • the weapons are wrong
  • caps are broken
  • the player tries to fix everything with rotation

Organization of priorities without overhead

The best way to learn Enhancement is:

  1. understand the general order of priority
  2. play with the flow
  3. Don't panic about proc
  4. treat uptime as part of DPS

When the fight seems confusing, good Enhancement simplifies; the bad accelerates even more.

Runtime errors that slow down performance

  1. Crooked caps
  2. wrong weapon
  3. broken priority
  4. Too long off target
  5. utility poorly suited to combat

Practical setup for progression

Beginning

  • weapon and caps first
  • clean build
  • simple priority

Middle/end

  • execution refinement
  • better proc reading
  • more chaos control

Minimum recommendation

Enhancement Shaman improves a lot when:

  1. respects caps and setup
  2. Learn flow instead of memorizing panic
  3. Protects uptime
  4. Maintains utility without breaking rotation

Strong enhancement is not what seems fastest. It's what seems most stable even in the middle of the mess.
