Elemental: starting pieces and gear route

Elemental: starting pieces and gear route

•Gear & BiS•Brendo Arruda

What speeds up Elemental the most at the beginning?

It is not part quantity. It is a priority quality.

Elemental grows faster when the player:

  • closes important caps
  • improves large slots
  • avoids crooked itemization
  • choose gear route with good return per hour

1. First items with the best impact for Elemental

The first upgrades that most often change the spec are:

  1. weapon
  2. trinkets
  3. large slots with spell power and stat coherence
  4. pieces that help close important hits/caps

The classic mistake is to take beautiful ilvl and remain inconsistent.

2. Order of progression by content

Step 1

  • predictable dungeons
  • base target loot
  • minimal glyphs, enchants and gems

Step 2

  • emblems/currency
  • better trinkets and weapons
  • more stable setup for group

Step 3

  • raid entry
  • specific upgrades
  • stat priority refinement

3. Stat priority at the beginning

In the beginning, Elemental wants to:

  • spell power
  • functional hit cap
  • rod/crit in reasonable balance for the phase
  • minimal waste of useless stats

The real priority is:

  1. get the base right
  2. then optimize

4. Gearing errors that reduce consistency

  • ignore hits and caps
  • gear per item level
  • change small slot before weapon/trinket
  • do not review enchants/gems
  • disperse farm in many instances without clear target

5. Checklist to get raid ready

  • [ ] correct build and glyphs
  • [ ] minimally strong weapon
  • [ ] coherent trinkets
  • [ ] main caps under control
  • [ ] basic enchants and gems up to date
  • [ ] biggest spec bottleneck ever identified

Minimum recommendation

Elemental is best raided when:

  1. prioritize weapons and trinket
  2. Respect hit cap early
  3. uses predictable gear route
  4. Prevents loose farm

Strong elemental early feels stable, not just “dressed up”.
