The Azeroth Legacy Digital Wallet: How to Manage Balance and History in Dashboard

•Dashboard•Brendo Arruda

What is the digital wallet

The digital wallet is your character's financial dashboard within the Azeroth Legacy Dashboard. It centralizes information that is dispersed in the game — current balance, transaction history, marketplace movements and spending on services — in an interface accessible by the site, without having to be logged in to the client.

Beta: Dashboard and digital wallet available for free during the beta. After launch, full transaction history will be a feature of the VIP plan.

How to access and understand the digital wallet

access

Log into the Azeroth Legacy website, log in, and go to the Dashboard. The wallet appears as a dedicated section within your character's dashboard — usually named “Wallet,” “Finance,” or “Balance.”

KEY COMPONENTS

Current balance The total amount available in the account, updated after each transaction. The balance displayed reflects the actual state — it does not include amounts committed in active auctions that have not yet been settled.

Transactions statement Chronological list of recent transactions. Each row shows:

  • Date and time
  • Transaction type (sale, purchase, service, auction)
  • Input or output value
  • Resulting balance after the operation

Service History Separate record of the services used in the Dashboard — talent reset, race change, unstuck — with date and type of service.

Reading balance, statement and transactions

How to read the statement without getting lost

The extract can grow fast if you actively use Marketplace. In order not to get lost, filter by transaction type:

  • Entries: Marketplace sales, auctions won by others
  • Outputs: purchases, services used, bids paid at auctions

Identifying spending patterns

With visible extract, it is easy to identify where the gold goes without realizing it. Common examples:

  • Many talent reset services in a short time — sign that the build is not set
  • Marketplace purchases focused on one type of item — may indicate waste with non-priority items
  • Falling balance with no visible entry — it is worth checking if there is an active bid at auction

Spending organization by priority

The digital wallet does not automatically organize spending by importance category — this is the player's decision. A simple model works well:

Tier 1 — Mandatory Progression Spending

  • Flasks, buff food and raid potions
  • Enchants and gems for confirmed upgrades
  • Equipment repairs

Tier 2 — Convenience spend with clear payback

  • Dashboard services with real savings (talent reset instead of paying NPC)
  • Marketplace purchases of items that save farm time

Tier 3 — Optional Spend and Collection

  • Auctions of mounts and cosmetics
  • Prestige items with no functional value

The order matters: tier 1 always before. What's left goes to tier 2 and 3. When this is reversed — buying cosmetics before having enchant — the character stops progressing for no technical reason.

Common Balance Control Errors

1. Do not check the statement before large expenses

Entering an auction or buying an expensive item without checking the actual balance can result in compromised gold that was already reserved for something else.

2. Confuse balance with liquidity

High balance does not mean that all that gold is available. If you have active bids in auctions, part of the amount is locked. The statement shows the actual situation.

3. Ignore frequent small departures

Small, repeated transactions add up to more than they seem. A quick analysis of the weekly statement reveals patterns that go unnoticed on a daily basis.

4. Do not separate gold from different characters

If you have alts, each character's wallet is separate. Planning that mixes the balances without awareness generates surprise when it comes to using them.

Weekly portfolio management checklist

Start of week

  • [ ] Checked current balance before planning spend for the week?
  • [ ] Do you have separate gold for raid consumables?
  • [ ] Any active auctions with committed gold?

Statement review

  • [ ] Did you review the previous week's transactions?
  • [ ] Have you identified any unexpected spending patterns?
  • [ ] Did all expected sales entries appear?

Planning

  • [ ] Next identified priority expenditures (enchant, gem, consumable)?
  • [ ] Gold available for separate auction from progression gold?
  • [ ] Dashboard services you will use in the week calculated?
